Dr Tasneem Bharmal has completed her DrNB in Medical Oncology post a MD Gen Med and MBBS, she has pursued advanced training in Cancer Genomics and Precision Oncology from Harvard Medical School, and holds certification from the European Society for Medical Oncology.
She maintains a laser-focused approach in maximizing patient survival and improving their quality of life through tailored patient-centred treatment strategies.
Her treatment philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that strength, optimism, and empathy are critical in guiding patients and their families throughout the cancer journey. By 2050, cancer cases in India are projected to exceed 1.5 million annually, according to IARC. To combat this, in her daily practice she is working towards a comprehensive strategy involving vaccination, lifestyle changes, enhanced screening, genetic screening and counselling, public awareness, and personalised preventive care.
