Outpatient
The Outpatient Department (OPD) at HNCII is dedicated to providing a comprehensive array of services to our esteemed patients, all without the need for overnight stays. We understand the importance of accessible and convenient healthcare, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
Our Outpatient Department (OPD) serves as a hub for patients and their families to meet with our medical experts. Here, you can receive a thorough diagnosis, explore treatment options, and schedule follow-up appointments. In addition to our cancer specialists, we offer access to a diverse team of medical professionals, including dentists, psychologists, counsellors, and social workers, addressing a wide range of medical and emotional needs.
We provide a comprehensive suite of laboratory tests, including molecular and genetic tests, to assist in the precise diagnosis and management of your condition. To enhance your experience, we have established special collection booths for your convenience, streamlining the process.
Our Outpatient Department (OPD) offers an extensive range of imaging tests, including X-rays, ultrasounds (USG), CT scans, and MRI scans. Furthermore, we have invested in advanced nuclear imaging technologies such as a 64-slice CT-PET and a SPECT scanner to facilitate accurate diagnosis and staging.
Certain minor surgical procedures can be conveniently conducted as outpatient procedures, eliminating the need for an overnight stay. These procedures encompass biopsies, stent placements, minimally invasive surgeries, and select laser procedures. Our modern endoscopy suite is equipped for both diagnosis and endoscopic treatment.
For those requiring radiation treatments, our Outpatient Department (OPD) provides daily sessions using cutting-edge, high-precision equipment. These treatments are administered on an outpatient basis, ensuring minimal disruption to your daily routine.
Many types of chemotherapy, injections, or transfusions can be administered in our well-equipped daycare area. Additionally, we have established specialized clinics dedicated to the care and maintenance of catheters used for chemotherapy.
Our outpatient services extend to specialized clinics for physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and swallowing therapy, and stoma and catheter care. These services are designed to facilitate your recovery and help you effectively manage your condition.
